The Better Movement was born from our own journeys through traumatic childhoods marked by sexual abuse, mental health struggles, and the challenges of living with severely mentally unwell family members who received minimal support, we've personally faced the dire consequences of inadequate education and resources to forge a better life. This firsthand experience has not only shown us the devastating impact that unhealed trauma, past conditioning, and programming can have but also highlighted the acute scarcity of such vital resources in developing countries.

​During our years in Bali, we immersed ourselves in the rich wisdom of ancient indigenous cultures and engaged closely with local communities and orphanages. These experiences brought into sharp focus not just the critical shortage of resources but a profound deficit in the knowledge necessary to retrain the mind and emancipate children from the grips of poverty.
